One decision · live · open to anyone

The Corner

Some decisions do not wait for the next cohort. A question about what your status means for the thing you want to build. An offer that needs an answer by Friday. This is the room you take either of those into.

You do not need to be a graduate, a finished deal, or a tidy question. Request the room, a worksheet follows, we read it, and if it is the right room we send you a link to book. The session opens on your decision rather than your backstory.

Price

$499 or $899

$499 for thirty minutes, $899 for the hour. Chosen by the shape of your decision. Pick either. If the other fits better we say so before you pay.

Open to
Anyone. Graduate or not.
Before it
A worksheet you fill in your own time. No deadline.
Never asked
Your case number or your documents. Tell us the status you hold and we work from what the published rules say for that category. What happens in your case is your attorney’s to answer.
Wrong room
We say so before any money moves. Nothing is charged until we have read your worksheet and agreed a time.

01
The distance

This is the narrowest gap on the whole site, and the most expensive one to leave open.

You are not missing knowledge. You are missing one hour with somebody who has no stake in which way you decide.

Tonight, without the room

  • The question has been open for months, and every answer you find online is undated, contradictory, or written for somebody else’s situation.
  • When there is a deadline, the version of you that decides at 11pm is not your best one.
  • Deferring feels safe. When something is live, the other side decides for you, on their terms.

An hour later

  • The decision named in one sentence, often not the one you brought, and what it actually turns on.
  • The move rehearsed out loud: the email, the number, or the question you put to your attorney.
  • A next step written down and dated, and where it belongs with a licensed professional, the question to take to them in their language.

Sometimes the answer is "do not sign this", or "this one is not ours to answer". You are paying for a straight answer rather than a comfortable one.

02
How the hour runs

No discovery call, no rapport-building, no slides.

The worksheet does the introductions. Here is the hour, minute by minute, so nothing about it is a surprise.

  1. First 5 min

We name the decision back to you.

From your worksheet, in one sentence ending in a question. You correct us if we have it wrong — that correction is often the session's most valuable minute.

  2. Next 15

    We take it apart.

What the decision actually turns on, which facts you have, which you are assuming, and which one changes the answer.

  3. Next 25

    We rehearse the move.

The email, the number, the email, the number, or the question you put to your attorney — drafted out loud, and the two answers you should be ready for.

  4. Last 15

You leave with the next step.

Written down, dated, and — where it belongs with a professional — the question to take to them, in their language.

03
Is it yours

Bring one of these. Not one of those.

Bring one of these

  • Questions about owning while you are here

  • "Two routes look open to me and I have to choose one this month."
  • "My attorney said one thing, my CPA said another, and I need to know what I am actually choosing between."
  • "I have read the rule and I still cannot tell which part applies to a business I would own rather than work for."
  • "My spouse’s authorisation changed and I do not know what that means for the thing we were planning."
  • Questions about a deal in front of you

  • "The seller countered at a number I cannot make work. Do I walk?"
  • "The broker wants an LOI by Friday and I do not know what I am agreeing to."
  • "The numbers say yes and something about the seller says no."
  • "I already own this thing and the decision in front of it is not the one I started with."

Not this

  • "Tell me everything about buying a business." That is The Immigrant Entrepreneur Cohort, and it is cheaper per hour.
  • "Review my documents." We do not give legal or tax opinions on papers. Your attorney and your CPA do.
  • "Tell me whether my case will be approved." Nobody can, and we will say so in minute one rather than take the fee.
  • "Introduce me to a seller." We are not a brokerage and we take no fee on your close.

04
Request the room

You do not have to arrive with your problem already solved.

Request the room, and within 24 hours a worksheet follows. It is the questions we would have asked in the first fifteen minutes, asked in your own time instead. We read it before anything is booked, so the session starts where your thinking already got to.

  1. Now

    Your acknowledgment

Nothing is charged and nothing is scheduled.

  2. Within 24 hours

    The worksheet arrives

Twenty to thirty minutes, in your own time. It asks about your situation. It never asks for your documents.

  3. Whenever it is ready

    You send it back

No deadline, nothing expires. Blanks are fine.

  4. Within two working days of that

We tell you whether this is the right room

If it is, a link to book follows, at the price you chose.

Graduates with a live deal

Ask about At the Table instead — we work the whole deal with you, scoped in conversation and quoted flat.

Which one is your decision?

Pick by the shape of it, not the clock.

Not sure? Pick either. We read your worksheet before anything is scheduled — if the other length fits better we say so and settle the difference either way, including refunding it.

What lands in your inbox

Your receipt now; the worksheet within 24 hours. Nothing is scheduled yet — we book the time after we have read it back, and there is no deadline on sending it.

Checkout is handled by Stripe; card details never touch this site. Sessions are not refundable once booked — reschedule once free with 24 hours' notice.

If it is not urgent

An hour is the wrong shape for “where do I even start”.

If the question is your whole route rather than one live decision, four weeks costs less per hour and answers more. We will say so before taking the booking, not after.

Where we would send you instead

The Immigrant Entrepreneur Cohort

Four weeks, and cheaper per hour than this room.

The Library

Free and ungated, if you would rather read before you spend.

Boundaries
Said plainly

What we are, and what we are not.

Education and preparation

We teach published rules as written, on worked examples, and get you ready for the rooms where decisions are made. Where we are reading a rule rather than quoting it, we say so.

Not advice, not representation

We are not a law firm, not your attorney, not your CPA and not a brokerage. No legal, tax, immigration or financial advice, no position taken on your case, and nothing filed or signed for you.

No relationship created

Reading this site or attending a room creates no attorney–client or accountant–client relationship, and no sponsorship of any kind. Nothing said in a room is privileged.

Rules move, and dates matter. Anything we teach is accurate to the date we state and no further — check the date, then take your own facts to your own attorney and CPA. Every case turns on its own facts.
